If a Retailer, Distributor, or Master Distributor initiates a cancellation request, the company reserves the right to deduct applicable cancellation charges from the user’s wallet balance, settlement amount, or reserve account according to operational policies.
Where refunds are processed and approved, the amount may be credited to the user’s wallet on the Nextbill platform and must be utilized within one year from the date of issuance, failing which the balance may be forfeited as per company policy.
Facility Provider: Refers to the Internet Payment Gateway Provider with whom Nextbill Technologies Private Limited has entered into arrangements to enable online payment transactions through payment gateway systems.
Merchant: Refers to any User, Retailer, Distributor, or Super Distributor who makes payments to Nextbill Technologies Private Limited to access services available on the platform.
Subject to these Terms, Nextbill Technologies Private Limited provides online payment facilities to merchants for performing transactions on the platform as approved under the agreement.
The agreement commences from the activation date or onboarding completion and remains in force until terminated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Nextbill Technologies Private Limited reserves the right to modify, amend, or update service terms, including fees, service charges, or settlement timelines, at its sole discretion. Continued use of services after updates constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
By accepting these Terms, the Merchant agrees to use the payment gateway facility solely for wallet loading and authorized digital transactions on the Nextbill platform.
Merchants may load funds using:
The Merchant acknowledges responsibility for verifying the authenticity of the cardholder or payer before initiating wallet-loading transactions and agrees to cooperate in resolving disputes, chargebacks, or payment reversals.
The Merchant agrees not to use the payment gateway facility in any manner that violates applicable laws, regulations, or directives. Fraudulent, deceptive, or unlawful activity that harms the reputation or operations of Nextbill Technologies Private Limited or its payment partners constitutes a material breach.
The Merchant agrees to use cardholder information strictly for completing legitimate transactions and not share, sell, or disclose such information to any third party unless it was independently obtained or the cardholder has explicitly consented.
The Merchant shall comply with all applicable laws and regulatory guidelines, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and Reserve Bank of India guidelines.
Nextbill Technologies Private Limited is not responsible for disputes between merchants and cardholders. The Merchant bears full responsibility for addressing such complaints.
The Merchant agrees to cooperate in resolving payment-related queries but remains solely responsible for issues related to incorrect payment instructions, merchant-side transaction errors, or billing discrepancies.
If the payment gateway provider informs Nextbill Technologies Private Limited of a chargeback initiated by a cardholder, the company will notify the Merchant and provide available transaction details.
The Merchant may submit relevant documents proving successful completion of the transaction or delivery of services to the customer. These must be submitted within five business days of receiving the chargeback notification.
If adequate documentation is not submitted within the specified period, the payment gateway provider may reverse the transaction amount and refund it to the cardholder.
Nextbill Technologies Private Limited reserves the right to recover chargeback amounts from the merchant’s wallet balance, settlement funds, or reserve account, including associated penalties or charges, and may withhold settlement funds if a chargeback risk is anticipated.
If disputes arise due to unauthorized transactions, non-delivery of services, fraud, identity misuse, security breaches, or hacking, the Merchant must provide proof of service delivery. Where proof is unavailable, the Merchant must refund the disputed amount.
The Merchant agrees to comply with all information security and payment regulations under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Reserve Bank of India guidelines. If loss occurs due to security lapses or negligence by the Merchant, the Merchant shall indemnify and hold harmless Nextbill Technologies Private Limited and its payment partners.
The Merchant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Nextbill Technologies Private Limited, its directors, officers, employees, and representatives from losses arising due to merchant-customer transactions, data breaches caused by merchant systems, or regulatory penalties imposed by authorities such as NPCI or RBI.
The Merchant remains responsible for claims, damages, liabilities, or legal proceedings arising from violations of applicable laws, breach of Terms, disputes with vendors or customers, negligence, or intellectual property infringement claims.
If Nextbill Technologies Private Limited or its Payment Gateway / Facility Provider becomes entitled to indemnification, the company may recover such amounts by debiting settlement amount, wallet balance, reserve account, or any other outstanding balance held with the company.
The Merchant agrees to use Payment Gateway Services solely for wallet loading and digital financial transactions on the platform and remains fully responsible for verifying the identity and authenticity of the cardholder or payer before processing wallet loading transactions.
Although the website or platform may be accessible from locations outside India, Nextbill Technologies Private Limited does not represent or guarantee that its services or products are available or suitable for use outside India.
The platform is operated exclusively from India, and all services are governed by Indian law. Accessing the platform from outside India does not constitute an offer or solicitation to provide services in any foreign jurisdiction where the company is not legally authorized to operate.
All content available on the platform, including text, logos, designs, graphics, trademarks, software, and other proprietary materials, is protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws.
All intellectual property rights are owned by Nextbill Technologies Private Limited, its affiliates, or licensors.
